WILL OF ELNOR SPENDLOVE OF SHOTTLE , DERBYSHIRE DATED 15 JANUARY 1828 PROBATE GRANTED DERBY 22 APRIL 1828, BUT UNADMINSTERED. ADMINISTRATION GRANTED LICHFIELD 12 FEBY 1866

This if the last Will and Testament of me Elnor Spendlove of Shottle in the County of Derby Spinster made the fifteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.
I give devise and bequeath to my loving brother Jane Spendlove whom I constitute sole Executor of this my will the sum of one thousand pounds now in my own possession in trust nevertheless for the several uses intents and purposes hereinafter declared of an dconcerning the same that is to say after the charges of obtaining the probat of this my will are paid out of the said sum of one thousand pounds that she divisde an pay the then remainder therof (as soon as convenient) to my four brothers in the following proportions that is to say in the proportion of two hundred pounds each to my brothers Gervase and John and of these hundred pounds each to my brothers Robert and Isaac and in case of the decease of any of my said brothers without lawful issue before becoming entitle to his share I direct such share or shares to be equally divided between the survivors of them but in case of their leaving lawful issue I direct the share or shares to be equally divided amongst the issue of each one respectively.

Proved at Lichfield the twenty second day of April 1828 by the oath of Jane Spendlove (wife of Robert Spendlove Farmer) the mother the sole Executrix named in the will to whom administration was granted.
The testatrix Elnor Spendlove was late of Shottle in the County of Derby Spinster and died on the second day of February 1828 of Shottle aforesaid Under 1500

At Lichfield on the twelth day of February 1866 Administration (with the Will annexed) of the Shottle in the County of Derby Spinster deceased who died on the second day of February 1828 at Shottle aforesaid left unadministrated by Jane Spendlove (wife of Robert Spendlove) whilst living the mother and the sole executrix named in the said will was granted to John Adsetts Esquire the surviving acting Executor of the will of John Frost deceased who was whilst living the surviving acting executor of the will of the said Robert Spendlove deceased whilst living the natural and lawful father and next of kin of the said deceased No Residuary Legatee being named in the said Will - The said Robert Spendlove survived the said Elnor Spendlove and died without taking upon himself the Letters of Administration with the said Will annexed of the unadministrated personal Estate and Effects of the said deceased
