In the name of God Amen I Deborah Spendlove of Shottle
in the parish of Duffield and County of Derby being weak in Body but of
sound and disposing mind and Understanding (Praised be God) Do make and
Ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner following .
First I give Devise and bequeath all my ready money and
Securitys for money that is oweing to me whatsoever and also my Cow and
all my Household Furniture in the House where I now dwell unto my Only
and well beloved son Samuel Spendlove of Codnor in the County aforesaid
for ever on Paying all my debts and Funeral expenses.Also I give all my
wearing Apperrel to my loving Sisters Lucy Key and my Sister Jane Spendlove
of Shottle Aforesaid to be equally Divided between them.
Also I constitute and Appoint my Loving Son Samuel Spendlove
and my Brother George Spendlove of Shottle aforesaid Executors for the
performing this my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my Hand and Seal the Twelvth Day of April in the Sixth Year of aour
Sovereign Lord King George the Third and in the year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven Hundered Sixty and Six.
