This is the last Will and Testament of me William Spendlove of Noel
Street Derby in the County of Derby Joiner .I direct that all my just debts
and funeral and testamentary expenses may be paid as soon as conveniently
may be after my decease.I give devise and bequeath to my Wife Ann Spendlove
her heirs executers administrators and assigns All that Allotment of Land
situate on the Ashborne Road Estate of the Derby Freehold Lands Society
with its rights members and appurtenances and also all my personal Estate
of what nature or kind secure for her own use and benefit absolutely and
as to the remainder of my real Estate hereditament and premises that
I may die possessed of I give and devise the same unto and to the use of
George Ordish the elder of 96 Oxford St Litchchurch near Derby and my said
Wife Ann Spendlove their heirs and assigns.Upon trust to permit and suffer
my said Wife Ann Spendlove to recieve the rents and profits thereof for
her own use and benefit during her life,and from and immediately after
her decease then upon Trust for my said Trustee George Ordish to sell and
dispose of the remainder of my said Real Estate hereditaments and premises
either by public Auction ,or private contract as my said Trustee in his
discretion shall think fit.And I hereby declare that the reciept of my
Trustee shall be a good and valid discharge for the sums of money to be
mentioned therein and that it shall not be necessary for any purchaser
or purchasers of the whole or any part of the said Real Estate
hereditaments and premises nor shall he or they be bound to see nor be
liable or accountable for the application nonapplication or missaplication
of the purchase moniesor any part thereof and I direct that my said Trustee
shall and out out of the momies to arise by the sale of my said Real
Estate pay and satisfy all costs and charges incident to the trusts hereby
reposed in him.Then upon trust to distribute devide and pay the surplus
of the monies to arise by such sale and conversion unto and equally amongst
my seven children namely Eliza Ann Spendlove , Amelia Spendlove ,Luisa
Spendlove , Martha Spendlove , John Spendlove , William Ordish Spendlove
and Mary Elizabeth Spendlove to share and share alike and in case any my
said seven children shall be under the age of twenty one years at the time
of her decease I direct that my said Trustee shall invest the share of
such child or children so being under age in the public Stocks and funds
of Great Britain and stand possesed of the interest to arise thereby and
pay the same towards the maintenance and education of such of my said Children
so being under age and on attaining such age of twentyone years to pay
the principal and interest to such of my said children for their own use
and benifit absolutely.I appoint the said George Ordish and my said
wife Ann Spendlove Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Tesament
, In witness whereof I the said William Spendlove the Testator has hereunto
set my hand this thirteenth day of March one thousand eight hundered and
sixty five . William Spendlove Signed by the said William spendlove
the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presense of
us present at the same time who at his request in his presense and in the
presense of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses .

Proved at Derby the tenth day of July 1865 by the oath of Ann spendlove
Widow ,the Relict ,one of the Executors to whome Administration was granted;Power
reserved of making the like Grant to George Ordish the elder the other
Executor.
The Testator William spendlove was late of Noel Street in Derby in
the County of Derby Joiner and died on the eighth day of June 1865 at Derby
aforesaid.
