George Spendlove of Denby ,Beer Seller ,Derbyshire Quarter Session July 1832

Hugh Scott and John Radford the younger Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County having returned to this Court a Conviction under their hands and seals to be filed amongst the Records of this Sessions .Whereby George Spendlove of Denby in the said County Beer Seller was convicted before them for that he on the twenty sixth day of April now last past at Denby aforesaid refused to produce his measure in order to be viewed and examined contrary to the form of the Statute in that case made and provided.And for his Offence aforesaid hath forfeited the sum of forty shillings to be applied as the law directs.And also the further Sum of ten shillings for the Costs and Charges attending the said Conviction.This Court doth therefore order that the said Conviction be filed accordingly.
